In the exhibition event ‘AFC Institute of Management and Technology’ (AIMTEC), a subsidiary of AFC, had a stall in which it displayed the matter on its recently launched ‘Diploma Course in CDM’. The course is of 6 months duration and is conducted through distance education mode. It is divided into 5 units. The course will be useful to the students, professionals, researchers, officers, entrepreneurs, etc. willing to develop a career in the CDM. In the two days in Carbon Bazaar – 2009 this stall got overwhelming response from the visitors. About 80 people from different organizations such as NGOs, government departments, research organizations, financial institutions, industries and consultancy firms had visited the stall in these two days. In totality, the initiative of AFC in launching the diploma course in CDM was lauded by most of the visitors.
