Physical verification of Rural Employment Generation Programme (REGP) units financed during 2007-2008

   Khadi and Village Industries Commission assigned the task of Physical Verification of REGP units financed during 2007-08 in four States i.e. West Bengal, Maharashtra, Chhatisgarh and Meghalaya States to AFCL.

   Under the Scheme, prospective beneficiaries in rural areas may set up the project upto Rs.25.00 lakhs under manufacturing sector / service sector by availing Bank Finance through Public Sector Banks and Co-operative & Private Banks (approved by KVIB) in the country.

   AFC is required to conduct 100% physical verification of the REGP units established during the year 2007-08 located in different rural areas in the four States as per the list provided by KVIC. The main objective of conducting of physical verification is to confirm whether the units are working satisfactorily as per the norms of KVIC under the scheme.
