MEETING OF THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON ORGANIC FARMING
With a view to create awareness among farming community for innovative technologies of organic farming, extend advisory services through capacity building of prime stakeholders at national, state and grass-root levels with backward and forward linkages for sustainable livelihood support, AFC organized a meeting of Advisory Committee at India International Centre, New Delhi on June 20, 2009. In the Brainstorming Session, the AFC’s role as an institutional device to bridge the gap for effectively pursuing the issues of organic farming at national as well as ground level was emerged. AFC intends to spread outreach of its initiatives in promoting capacity building (in particular Training of Trainers) and plans to implement complete organic farming projects in the potential States. |
