  »   Consultancy for World Bank Assisted Process Monitoring of Andhra Pradesh Rural Poverty Reduction Project – Phase-II (Zone-II) – Society for the Elimination of Rural Poverty, Government of Andhra Pradesh – 2007-08

  This is an ongoing assignment of AFC which commenced in 2007. The Project has multi-sectoral interventions to promote sustainable livelihoods of the poor and vulnerable communities in 500 most backward mandals of Andhra Pradesh. The project seeks to address the primary livelihood concerns of the poor through:



  »   Implementation of DFID funded Western Orissa Rural Livelihood Project (WORLP) – Watershed Development Mission, Govt. Of Orissa – 2005-2010

  This project is funded by the Department for International Development (DFID), Government of United Kingdom. It is being implemented in the Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi and Bargarh districts of Orissa. These districts are among the poorest in India with nearly 70 per cent of the population living below the official poverty line, having high illiteracy rates, poor health indicators, shortage of safe drinking water, lack of sanitation, poor infrastructure, natural calamities, inequitable social structures, indebtedness, gender and other inequities.



  »   Comprehensive Watershed Development Project in Karnataka - Watershed Development Department (WDD)- Government of Karnataka – 2006-07

  This is a World Bank funded project. The Project Director, Sujala Watershed Project, Watershed Development Department, has assigned AFC the task of Promoting Income-Generation Activities and Setting up Micro-Enterprises in Kushavathi River in Chikkabalapur DWDO Area, Gudibande Taluk, Kolar District of Karnataka. The project involves arranging Facilitators’ Training Programme for Sujala Partners, conducting Entrepreneur Awareness Programme for about 600 SHG Members and conducting skill training and Entrepreneur Development Programme for about 240 SHG Members.



  »   Madhya Pradesh Tribal Development Project - The International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD), Rome – 1997

  At the instance of IFAD, AFC assisted Govt. of Madhya Pradesh in preparation of a detailed project report for tribal development in the State. The project area covered Bilaspur Division of Eastern MP comprising Bilaspur, Raigarh and Surguja districts.
