AFC is traditionally known for monitoring and evaluation expertise in the field of agriculture, allied and social sectors. AFC has now repositioned itself as multi-dimensional organisation including large-scale grass roots level project implementing agency. AFC has now operating in many sectors in addition to its traditional sector of M & E. AFC has good rapport with the various Ministries/Departments in the Government of India, and State Governments, and now is a well-known name in the field of consultancy. The name of the company is being changed to “AFC India Ltd” which will be in tune with the new business canvass of the company.

Business Associates - Rationale

Networking, Joint ventures, Hand holding, etc. are successfully being adopted for developing synergy and reducing transaction cost. AFC has been joining hands with suitable organisations since 2006 which has proved to be a win-win model. While our partners would have the benefit of vast experience and expertise of AFC and its status of deemed Government Company and its linkages with various government departments, ministries, etc., the AFC would be benefited by the wide spread presence, expertise and domain knowledge of the associates.

Nature of Business Associates

AFC is looking for association with domain specific consultancy organisations including Technical Management and Agriculture Institutions, etc. to work as its partners. We are looking for:

• Firm / Company, Consultancy Organisation or registered Societies.
• The Associates having at least three years of working experience in the identified areas.
• Organisations involved in providing consultancy services, capacity building, training and grass root level project implementation in agriculture and related areas.
• Organisations having networking with government and other funding agencies.

• Agri-Business covering horticulture, animal husbandry and other allied fields;
• Environment Sector in its full manifestation;
• Environmental Impact Assessment;
• Micro Small and Medium Enterprises;
• Rural Health, Medicinal Plants;
• Technical Quality Audit of Civil Constructions and Engineering Services;
• Rural Education;
• Organic Farming;
• Livelihood Promotion, Watershed and Tribal Welfare;
• Panchayati Raj and Local Self Government;
• Non-Financial Services and Financial Literacy;
• Capacity Building and Skill Development in various sectors;
• Disaster Management;
• Freelance Consultants willing to provide services on turnkey basis;
• Consultants with business ideas for Domestic and International market are also welcome
  

Business Potential

It is estimated that business potential in India in these areas of consultancy excluding implementation is nearly Rs.1200 crore per annum.

Modalities of Working

We are willing to work in related areas where the proposed associate has the core competence but lacks the platform and infrastructure. Depending upon the opportunities available, proposals would be submitted to the clients either individually by AFC or jointly with the business associates. On confirmation of the business, the task could be executed either jointly by AFC and Associates or exclusively by Associates under the guidance of AFC.

Revenue Sharing

Revenue sharing may vary from case to case and would be mutually discussed and agreed upon prior to commencing any such assignment.
