Livelihood Support Services under ‘Caring Capital'
AFCL has led the consortium through AFC Foundation – LetzDream Foundation – Bhagini Nivedita Gramin Vigyan Niketan, Parola to implement the project “Caring Capital” in five villages in Jalgaon and Nandurbar district in the state of Maharashtra. LetzDream Foundation has financed Rs 76.6 lakhs through AFCL to farmers to increase their net income for their sustainable livelihood. The project aims at providing financial and support services to 101 farmers belonging to different self help groups for undertaking various activities for enhancing their livelihood conditions such as agricultural activities, irrigation system development, release of mortgaged land for taking up cultivation, tractor trolley, floor mill, dairy etc. The farmers were also imparted training on credit worthiness, SHG dynamics, package of practices of agronomical and horticultural crops, irrigation systems and methods etc.
