The company has been providing broad-based consultancy services since 1968. Of late, the company has diversified into large scale grassroots level project implementation under watershed development, livelihood promotions, organic farming, agriculture extension services, environsmental impact assessments, retail microfinance operations, training and capacity building, education, skill development and financial literacy.

Technical Divisions
To carry out and coordinate various assignments, AFCL has five Technical Divisions, namely:

- Natural Resources Management Division
- Socio-Economic Division
- Monitoring and Evaluation Division
- External Consultancy Division
Each of the Divisions is equipped with adequate manpower and infrastructure to carry out the tasks concerning the respective divisions.
